| | Clay is my means of personal expression: a pursuit to capture a feeling or glimpse of something beautiful in nature. My bowls are tidepools with shells stamped into the surface or linear impressions of plants or animals in matt glazes. My love of the human figure yields sculptures that combine the figures with animals. The challenge is to transfer a sense of energy to the clay; the clay medium gives me the excitement of endless possibilities to do this. |
