Haruko has studied art at the Monterey Peninsula College and under Artists Judy Gregory, Bennett Bradbury, Rom Vila, William Blackman, E.John Robinson, Gary Jenkins, Joe Nordmann, Martin Weekly, Edward Norton Ward, Charles Morali, Duane Wakenam and D'Pharr. Art mediums have included acrylic, watercolor and oils. "I enjoy all painting and learning new techniques and take workshops whenever I can." Oils are her first love because she found the process relaxing. Her beautiful seascapes soothe and touch their viewers. Haruko is a member of the Central Coast Art Association.
